“Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere; they’re in each other all along.”  Sufi Poet Rumi

weddingpicA thousand congratulations on your engagement! The decision to marry is a revelatory commitment- – a union that if experienced with awareness, can be the vehicle that sets your soul free to develop and meet its purpose.  The wedding ceremony itself is a divine opportunity to gather your people, align with the powers of Heaven and Earth, create a new relationship and be the way of a better world.

We all have something that makes us come alive and for me, it’s writing and officiating ceremonies and I love every step.

The Process:

First thing, we meet up in person (or over Skype) and chat for about 30minutes to an hour about your backgrounds and how you envision your wedding. From that interaction, I’ll gain perspective and inspiration to create a questionnaire for both of you to fill out, which will lend me further look into the connection you share. (Couples often tell me this reflection is a very valuable and cherished part of their entire wedding experience!)

When you return the questionnaire is when I ask for a deposit. From there, I use what you’ve shared with me in person and in the questionnaire and I write a ceremony for you, one that truly conveys the essence of you and your relationship. You will have the opportunity to review the ceremony and tell me of any changes necessary. On the day of the ceremony (or at dress rehearsal) you pay me in full.
